ABOUT SEEWI

Alexxa Elseewi, born and raised in San Clemente, CA AKA “The Spanish Village By The Sea.”

Growing up in San Clemente, surfing is inevitable for all. Alexxa started surfing at the age of 5 and after her first wave, she couldn’t get enough! Surfing came very natural to her, so she decided to pursue the sport and compete. Throughout Alexxa’s professional career of surfing, she was able to accomplish many wins and sponsorships competing on the WSL QS. She was named 4X NSSA National Woman’s Champion & gathered supportive sponsors to guide her on the surfing journey. (O’Neill, REEF, SunBum, SUJA, Lost Surfboards, Jacks) & more…

Surfing opened so many doors for Alexxa. It allowed her to travel the world and experience new cultures, as well as meet so many beautiful life-long friends. Being able to connect with mother nature on that level makes her who she is today. That connection keeps Alexxa grounded and leveled mentally, physically, & spiritually. .

Alexxa loves to share the stoke & love of surfing with others, so she now teaches/coaches all ages & levels along the coast of California, known as SEEWI SURF SKOOL. She also hosts surf retreats across Central America.

Alexxa has a culturally diverse background being Egyptian, El Salvadorian, & Peruvian. As she recently reconnected with her El Salvadorian roots, Alexxa now plans to expand her teachings worldwide and create all woman’s surf retreats in El Salvador.

“I would love to create a space for woman to feel empowered and comfortable on a surf trip. I want like-minded girlies to come together and work on what we love, connect with a new culture, re-align our energies & surf insane waves! I chose El Salvador to do this retreat because I felt really safe, the people are beautiful, the waves are ALL TIME, the food and culture is vibrant & I left with a full heart!
